Billy has been passionate about fitness for a number of years. While in college he began simply by training friends to get ready for their first Tough Mudder race. After completing numerous Tough Mudders, triathlons, and similar endurance events, he was introduced to CrossFit by a friend. What started out as just a fun way to train, quickly turned into a passion for him. A few quick months after learning about CrossFit he earned his Level 1 and began coaching others using CrossFit’s principles. Billy has been a CrossFit athlete and coach for the past 4 years.  He is currently in a Master’s Program in Strength and Conditioning, and studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Outside of the gym Billy enjoys volunteering, hiking, and spending time with his friends and family.
