CrossFit L1 CertificateMelissa has been involved with fitness and sports for most of her life including dance, basketball and softball as a child and volleyball and rowing while in high school. Throughout college she continued to go to the gym but was looking for something more. Eventually she signed up for a few mud runs after having her son as motivation to get back into fitness. Through looking for training routines she found Crossfit and was instantly hooked.  ‘Seeing people dig deep during their workouts and cheer each other on was infectious and I knew this was where I belonged.’  Once she was training for about a few years she knew she wanted to be a part of helping people become the best version of themselves and began pursuing coaching. She has been coaching for a year and loves every second interacting with the members at Crossfit Chimney Rock.  ‘There is nothing more rewarding or fulfilling than watching somebody get their first handstand pushup, double under, or achieve a PR they have been chasing for a while.’
